Welcome to the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County's Website.  The SWA is the agency responsible for providing an integrated solid waste management and recycling system for Palm Beach County, Florida.  The SWA's award-winning system provides environmentally sound and cost effective facilities and programs to effectively manage Palm Beach County's waste.

NOTE: The South County Transfer Station located in Delray Beach will be closed for scheduled tipping floor repairs beginning Friday, May 23, 2008 through Saturday, May 24, 2008. The closure is a necessary part of our normal maintenance procedures.

There will be no acceptance of garbage and recyclable materials. We will remain open for Vegetation disposal operations and continue to accept Haz Waste from the public.

Please take all recycling to the Central County Transfer Station located in Lantana during this closure. Garbage may be taken to any other SWA disposal facility.

Normal hours of operation will resume on Monday, May 26, 2008.

Florida law requires that we post the following statement:
