Job Description
A skilled position responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of utility control systems. Responsible for all control system servers, workstations, PLC's, radios, RTU panels, control panels, and other assigned duties.
Duties include maintenance and monitoring of Windows Server 2003, user support, and hardware maintenance and upgrade installations. Responsible for hardware and software maintenance of the Utilities SCADA system including RTU panels and control panels located in the field. Field work including control room operation, LFG support and other maintenance support may be required as needed.
Requirements
Knowledge of cable specifications, SQL administration, computer hardware and software required. Knowledge of Windows Applications and Windows Server 2003, Modicon PLC programming and troubleshooting required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related technical field or knowledge gained through work experience and/or training, along with demonstrated ability that individual can perform at required level and is versed in the applicable technologies.
One – two years experience in SCADA systems required. Three - five years experience in commercial application development. Valid Florida drivers’ license with clean driving record required.
