Used Cooking Oil Recycling Program

Used Cooking Oil can harm your septic tanks and clog sewers if disposed of down the drain. Used cooking oil can also be recycled to make a variety of products including new fuel for cars and trucks. Palm Beach County residents can bring their used cooking oil to any of our hazardous waste drop-offs including all SWA transfer stations and the Hazardous Waste Collection Facilities in West Palm Beach and West Delray Beach.

Used cooking oil should be in leak-proof containers secured with a tight lid. Individual containers of used cooking oil must be no larger than 5 gallons in size.
