BOATS

Boats and vessels are accepted at the landfill only at the trash rate.

All fuels, flares, batteries, or other hazardous materials must be removed by the owner or hauler; and all boats must be inspected by HWS prior to disposal. We recommend removing under-floor fuel tanks when possible to speed the inspection process. HWS will accept the removed hazardous materials at no charge. Fiberglass is not a hazardous waste.

Customers are not allowed to siphon from boats at Hazwaste or on SWA property.
