THE BASICS
Any business that produces, or "generates,"
a hazardous waste is responsible for disposing of it legally and
properly.
A business in this sense includes non-profit
agencies, governments, and homeowners associations – basically
anyone that is not considered a household.
There are many wastes that, while not
necessarily hazardous, may have special handling requirements or
disposal restrictions.
