Where to Recycle

A drop-off is a container placed in a centralized location for small business recycling. The service is free and most locations can be accessed 24 hours a day. Most drop-off containers are located behind the business next to or near the garbage dumpsters.

Accepted Materials

All drop-off locations accept only paper or “yellow bin” items as listed on the What You Can Recycle at Work page. The type of paper items accepted are:
  • Cardboard - Flattened
  • Newspapers and Inserts – No plastic bags 
  • Office and School Paper 
  • Mail 
  • Magazines
  • Dry Food Boxes – No food stains 
  • Paper Bags
  • Cardboard Paper Rolls
  • Pizza Boxes – No food stains
At our Home Chemical and Recycling Centers, found here, we also accept containers or “blue bin” items as follows:
  • Plastic Bottles and Containers – Lids on; 2 gallons or less 
  • Cans, Food and Beverage 
  • Glass Bottles and Jars – Lids off 
  • Cartons, Milk and Juice– Lids on
  • Drink Boxes - No pouches
Please DO NOT place these items in either recycling container:
  • Plastic Bags
  • Foam Products
  • Aluminum Foil or Pans
  • Shredded Paper
  • Plastic Eating Utensils or Straws
  • Paper Plates
  • Paper Towels or Napkins
  • Coat Hangers
  • Light Bulbs
  • Needles
