For Fastest ResolutionThe SWA’s mission is to provide excellent customer service to its collection customers. The SWA’s Customer Information Services (CIS) department oversees the contracts for the collection of garbage, recycling, vegetation, and bulk waste within unincorporated Palm Beach County. CIS receives, logs, and resolves customer complaints, ensures that the franchise haulers are meeting their contractual obligations, and assesses penalties for excess complaints and service that does not meet the standards as required in their contract.
Recently, we have been receiving customer complaints routed through social media sites. While we endeavor to address those complaints, the SWA cannot effectively monitor every social media site. As a consequence, there is a delay in logging the complaint into our system, and as a result we are often unable to resolve those complaints in a timely manner.
