The SWA Risk Department coordinates all functions relating to risk identification, analysis and control. It manages the Authority’s insurance programs and the self-funded programs which provide property and liability insurance, and workers' compensation.
The department's Loss Control section develops and implements comprehensive loss prevention programs and training designed to insure regulatory compliance with State and Federal occupational health and safety laws.
