The Neighbor 2 Neighbor program provides volunteers an opportunity to become a "Community Leader" within their own neighborhood, or assist other leaders in need of support. Neighbor 2 Neighbor volunteers will be able to organize a Community Improvement Project which may include a painting project, Adopt-A-Spot neighborhood clean up, community garden, or even beautifying the entranceway to their community. You can start by canvassing your street, block or even the entire neighborhood and looking for signs of distress. Some of those signs may include: an overgrown yard, uncut shrubbery, peeling exterior paint, rotted wood, litter, etc. Most of all, our Neighbor 2 Neighbor volunteers will be able to educate their friends, family and neighbors about the benefits of SWA Community Service programs.
