[ARCHIVED] Old Or Unwanted Hurricane Supplies May Require Proper Disposal

SWA’s May Household Hazardous Waste Tip

With hurricane season right around the corner, many Palm Beach County residents are busy stocking up on hurricane supplies. New hurricane supplies often replace old ones that then may require proper disposal.

Supplies like old gasoline and used oil from generators, old propane tanks, and dead rechargeable batteries from your electronics or flashlights need to be disposed of properly.

These old or unwanted hurricane supplies should not be thrown away with the garbage. They should be disposed of properly and for FREE at 1 of the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County’s 7 Home Chemical and Recycling Centers:

West Palm Beach
