More than 270 extremely talented artists of all ages illustrated their artistic skill and recycling know-how by entering the America Recycles Day coloring contest from the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County.
Experienced professionals selected a winner and runner-up in each age category, and SWA staff voted to select the SWA Staff Favorites as well as the grand prize winner. The judging was based on creativity, originality, artistic skill, and interpretation and the clarity of the theme. Winning artwork is online at SWA.org/Coloring.
Prizes have been generously furnished by the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County, its contest partner WFLX-TV FOX29 and The Breakers Palm Beach, South Florida Fair, The Palm Beach Zoo, and Coca-Cola Beverages Florida.
